Alzheimer's and Other Dementias Clinic

The Cognitive Disorders Program under has a tripartite mission of clinical care, research and education.

Our Center provides consultation and treatment for patients who have diseases that affect memory, behavior and other cognitive functions. We see patients with confirmed or definitive diagnosis as well as those who are suspected to have a disorder but who are not formally diagnosed by a neurologist. We also see patients who are seeking a second opinion or whose diagnosis may span multiple disorders.
While more conditions arise as people age, we assess adult patients of any age for concerns related to memory problems, language deficits, features of Parkinson’s Disease (such as shaking or stiffness), symptoms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s Disease, Lewy body dementia and head injury, and problems that come from stroke, vascular diseases, and cortical-basal degeneration.
